july 31st, 2001: a seaman's cemetery. that's where we're roaming, that's salisbury - southern england, everthing's way too swell, way too sweet

july 31st, 2002: hatching heat and the hassle, that's new orleans - oh those hash browns, those bloody promises, those: that i never intended to keep

july 31st, 2003: that's defined, that's 100 degrees in a dorm on a sienese hill. and the rhyme: there's a terrace in tuscany love/where we may go to sleep

july 31st, 2004: near hanover, hungover. and again, for the rhyme: including myself/ i certainly might remember/ some sheep

july 31, 2005: berlin. that's a breach in my memory, no promise to keep. though - a bed i still do remember - & clothes disposed of - & shoes, shoes still on his feet
